You don’t need to be Clark Griswold to create a festive look for your home.  This beautifully decorated entry at the home of Normandy Designer Heather Dalskov combines classic white lights and garland with dramatic results.  The swags of the garland frame the spheres of white lights, adding another layer of light and a touch of design panache.

Your decorated front entry welcomes holiday guests and sets the festive mood for the evening.  The added benefit of spreading cheer throughout your neighborhood and even lifting your spirits after a long day is a welcome treat throughout the holiday season.

So take a look at the holiday decorations on your home and decide what you may want to change or add for next year.  Evaluating your decorations now means you’ll be ready to take advantage of post-Christmas sales and be well prepared for the 2012 holiday season.
