

“For the homes that have a laundry room and mudroom combo, some people are even choosing to include things like craft areas and doggie showers,” says Normandy Designer Leslie Molloy, CKD. “Often times the laundry room color scheme and décor will be consistent with the surrounding rooms. Since so much time is spent in the laundry room, homeowners are wanting to make it a nicer, more organized space.”
“I’m seeing a lot of white laundry rooms, most likely because it gives the space a fresh, clean aesthetic,” says Leslie. “The other trend with laundry rooms is that people are pulling them out of the basement when possible for the convenience of having it on the first or second floor of the home.”




The texture and dimension of the pebbles greatly reduce your chances of slipping in the shower, but do expose more grout which can require more maintenance.
Because of that, we’ve had clients actually take off their shoes and step on the sample to make sure the texture was something they wanted.
