Tile Accent Walls
Wall treatments are everywhere these days; from wallpaper to wainscoting, people are finding ways to upgrade their walls to make a statement. But, if you crave something a little unexpected, skip the wallpaper and paint and go for tile. Tile accent walls add depth and texture to a room creating a focal point that leaves a lasting impression.
You can implement textured tile as an accent wall in virtually any room of the house. Traditionally seen in bathrooms, tile accent walls work great because of their durability and practicality for resistance to water. Tile accent walls can look just as beautiful in a family room, bar area, or anywhere in the home you want to add some flair.
Unlike a painted accent wall, you should be certain about your tile choice since it will be more laborious to change down the road if you reconsider. Start with a tile that you absolutely adore for its color, pattern, or texture. If you can’t quite commit, we suggest opting for a tile that is more neutral in color and simple in design.
