Withย our remodeling demand steadily increasing, weย have added another designer toย our team, Laura Barber, AKBD!ย ย Laura currently resides in Oak Brook, IL, and has been a residential designer for over ten years.ย After attending school at the Illinois Institute of Art, Laura became a certified kitchen and bath designer through the NKBA and has served on the board of the Chicago chapter for five years.
โMy Grandmother was actually a very talented designer, and was President of ASID for many years,โ says Laura, โSo I guess you could say designing is in my blood.โย Normandyโs strong reputation in the remodeling industry is what drewย Laura to the organization, and thus far she is very happy with her decision.
โNormandy is so well known and respected in the Chicagoland area, and working here has been everything Iโd hoped it would be,โ commented Laura, โFrom a homeowner’s perspective, it really only makes sense to go with a design/build company for a remodeling project, because everyone from the architect to the project manager is on the same page in regards to budget and design ideas from the start; that’s another reason Normandy was appealing to meโ
We are thrilled to add Laura to our team and have high hopes for her creative and well-thought-out designs.ย โAdding Laura to our design team brings us to a total of 15 experienced and talented designers,โ says Co-Owner Andy Wells, โBeing able to meet the demand of our growing client base is the only way to consistently deliver exceptional satisfaction to them.ย Laura is very talented in what she does, and weโre happy to have her.โ
