We expected many surprises and bumps along the way, but happily, anything that presented was resolved with clever solutions. “Our family hired Normandy Remodeling for a major renovation on my parents’ house. We completely redesigned the ground floor: converted sunroom into ground floor master suite, opened up living room/family room areas, redid entire kitchen, powder room, foyer. It was a major job, complicated by the fact that my wife and I were coordinating the project remotely (we are in California and my parents are in Oak Brook, Illinois) because my parents have never done a remodel and were completely daunted by the idea of doing this alone. Ashley Noethe was instrumental in ensuring this project resulted in success: happy parents, a gorgeous new ground floor, and a painless process. From the onset, Ashley quickly understood what we were looking to achieve and was extremely helpful in her style/design recommendations. “We walked into Normandy’s Showroom in Hinsdale not knowing ANYTHING about remodeling. So we asked to speak with someone about completely gutting and re-designing our kitchen. We DEFINITELY had the luck of the Irish that day because we randomly got Gary Cerek. We immediately hit it off with Gary as he patiently explained the design process. Once we decided to go with Normandy, Gary walked us through every step of the way.
