We worked with Jeremy Paris on the new design of our front porch and Jim Leslie was our project manager. Both were amazing! Our permit process took longer than any of us expected because of the city dragging their feet so the weather was a bit colder than anyone expected since we had snow by Halloween but that did stop the Normandy Team from getting their work done! “We hired Normandy to conduct a massive project for us in 2018. We added a three story addition to our existing 80 year old Georgian home which we loved. This included a new kitchen, new bedroom, two bathrooms, hardwood floors, new basement, and a washer/dryer relocation.

Normandy was a fantastic coordinator throughout the process, from keeping us informed as we received necessary Village approvals, all the way down to turning a full door into a pocket door towards the end to help with traffic flow. Construction took about 6 months end-to-end, beginning in the harsh January month.

We interviewed a few candidates for our project and went with Normandy because it became apparent that their organizational skills were unmatched by the others. Granted, the project was a little more expensive than other bids, it was worth the cost given that our family needed to live in the existing part of the home throughout the process. You don’t receive a Gantt chart (look it up if you don’t know) often for home construction, but these guys were all over it and stayed with it.

Jeremy Paris and Eric Reiman were our designer and superintendents respectively and I would recommend them to anyone.”

“We hired Normandy for a curb appeal overhaul that included the design and construction of a new front porch. Our home has been transformed, our neighbors are complimenting us, and we feel great about the entire experience. We chose Normandy for two primary reasons: 1) They had done two major additions on our home (for a previous owner) and the craftsmanship still stands out today. We wanted to hire a company with a lot of experience that would do the job correctly the first time around, and a company that would stand behind their work. 2) The design created by Jeremy Paris elevated our vision for what was possible with our curb appeal. He transformed a 1950’s ranch into a home that is current and relevant with today’s trends and styles. He understood exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. During the consultative process, he was always cost conscious and went above and beyond to help us make decisions that added value while saving money. We had high expectations when the construction began and Normandy never let us down. We began an outside project in January. Despite adverse weather, the contractors (cement, framing, roofing and carpentry) were all on-time, respectful, never idle, and worked every day until the project was done. “Normandy has done quite a bit of work in our neighborhood and we had seen their work firsthand before reaching out.  Troy and Jeremy did a great job redesigning our space from a MONSTER (and very ugly!) master bathroom to a regularly-sized bathroom, good size master bedroom, great closet space and added a 4th bedroom to the house because of the ingenious way they thought outside the box.  They moved walls in ways we didn’t know was possible and the result is unbelievable  It was impressive to see their ideas on paper and even more impressive to see it for real!
