When a family decides to expand their home, winning an award isn’t necessarily on the checklist. But this River Forest family is now able to relax in their newly expanded home, with the knowledge that their project isn’t just special to them, it’s a two-time award-winner, designed by Normandy Designer Jeremy Paris.

This two-story home addition previously attained a Remodeler of the Year award from the Greater Chicagoland chapter of NARI, so the honor was doubled when it was named a Regional Winner among the national competition for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

This kitchen expansion and mudroom addition created space to expand a bedroom above and create a home office, with a keen sense of detail to make the most of every square inch.
