Family Room Addition Brings this Home into Balance
Every home needs space to gather, a place where family can unwind and enjoy a relaxing evening or lazy Sunday afternoon. Despite its generous size, this home lacked such a place, a problem Normandy Designer Jeremy Paris was called in to remedy.
Jeremy created a family room addition just off the kitchen with high vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light. With a stylistic approach that fit the existing home’s aesthetic so perfectly, it’s difficult to pinpoint which area is the addition.
Developing a home addition plan that maintains the proportion, scale, and balance of the home’s existing style is one of Jeremy’s talents. Judges from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry of Greater Chicagoland chapter felt he achieved his goal successfully, granting this home addition a Contractor of the Year Award.
