Our bathroom was gutted while we were away and Ken Garrison managed the project and we are very please with the end result.  Ken and Chris were professional throughout the project and kept us well informed.

The project was finished ahead of schedule and the bathroom and surrounding area was thoroughly cleaned.

I would those who are willing to pay for top notch work to strongly consider Normandy, to not would be a mistake.”

“Vince Weber of Normandy spearheaded a small remodeling project for us last year. It consisted of a modification to our kitchen. Vince was a terrific person for the job. He took all the time we needed and helped us decide what we wanted to do by showing us available alternatives. He drew a detailed plan, arranged the work and made sure it was done to our satisfaction.

“We have a Prairie style home built in 1925. Much of the original style (wood, fireplace, leaded glass, etc.) had been preserved in the ‘old’ part of the house – the entry, living room & dining room. When the house was renovated in ~1990, an addition resulted in a kitchen that did not fit in with the house at all. We turned to Normandy who assigned Vince Weber to work with us on the challenge.

From the 1st meeting with Vince, he listened carefully showed sensitivity & understanding of what our goals were as well as how we could work together collaboratively to achieve them. He was creative, had great ideas & helped us wade through the myriad of choices we had to make in a fun yet results oriented manner – making sure we selected things we loved. He was meticulous & always very responsive – whether we had questions, a potential issue or needed a consultation on something.

While we had a vision &, with Vince’s help made individual selections that we loved, it all came together beautifully. We love it!

Finally, of course, we had a budget & we made some tradeoffs here & there in the beginning; the amazing thing is that the project came in only slightly over budget. And, yes, as in every project, especially with an old house, there were a couple of surprises, but the team (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) led by Jim Leslie was excellent. They did very high quality work & always made sure our house was livable – neat & clean.

“We hired Normandy to conduct a massive project for us in 2018. We added a three story addition to our existing 80 year old Georgian home which we loved. This included a new kitchen, new bedroom, two bathrooms, hardwood floors, new basement, and a washer/dryer relocation.

Normandy was a fantastic coordinator throughout the process, from keeping us informed as we received necessary Village approvals, all the way down to turning a full door into a pocket door towards the end to help with traffic flow. Construction took about 6 months end-to-end, beginning in the harsh January month.

We interviewed a few candidates for our project and went with Normandy because it became apparent that their organizational skills were unmatched by the others. Granted, the project was a little more expensive than other bids, it was worth the cost given that our family needed to live in the existing part of the home throughout the process. You don’t receive a Gantt chart (look it up if you don’t know) often for home construction, but these guys were all over it and stayed with it.

Jeremy Paris and Eric Reiman were our designer and superintendents respectively and I would recommend them to anyone.”

“We just wanted to commend Ashley Noethe and her team at Normandy Remodeling for their great service. It has been a little over a year since our bathroom remodeling was completed. I recently realized I needed a replacement part, and I was hesitant to call because I was not sure if our products were still under warranty.  I shopped around for the replacement part without any success.

I then decided to call Normandy Remodeling. The person who answered the phone was pleasant and courteous.
