"We have a Prairie style home built in 1925. Much of the original style (wood, fireplace, leaded glass, etc.) had been preserved in the 'old' part of the house - the entry, living room & dining room. When the house was renovated in ~1990, an addition resulted in a kitchen that did not fit in with the house at all. We turned to Normandy who assigned Vince Weber to work with us on the challenge. From the 1st meeting with Vince, he listened carefully showed sensitivity & understanding of what our goals were as well as how we could work together collaboratively to achieve them. He was creative, had great ideas & helped us wade through the myriad of choices we had to make in a fun yet results oriented manner - making sure we selected things we loved. He was meticulous & always very responsive - whether we had questions, a potential issue or needed a consultation on something. While we had a vision &, with Vince's help made individual selections that we loved, it all came together beautifully. We love it! Finally, of course, we had a budget & we made some tradeoffs here & there in the beginning; the amazing thing is that the project came in only slightly over budget. And, yes, as in every project, especially with an old house, there were a couple of surprises, but the team (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) led by Jim Leslie was excellent. They did very high quality work & always made sure our house was livable - neat & clean. We would absolutely turn to Vince for any new project we'd undertake in the future."

"Normandy worked for us twice: in 2008 kitchen remodel and addition in IL, and then hired our designer again this year to do the same, plus bathroom for a second home in MI. (We could not use Normandy for contractor work because they aren't licensed in MI.)  Our designer acted as project manager and is super talented and professional. I can't stress how many hours were saved by working in Normandy's showroom choosing from a vast array of everything needed for our project - from cabinets, to flooring, to knobs and hardware. It was very convenient. Our designer worked with us after the project was completed to suggest paint colors and decorating ideas. There were a few bugs with the construction on our house in IL, but I think that is always the case. Just needed to keep on the GC and have our designer push to get things done, too. I would recommend to anyone and suggest asking for Chris Ebert as your designer."
