“I am a senior citizen who has multiple disabilities. I have significant low vision (more than legally blind) and hearing impairment. I do not drive. I do not see most colors. I wanted a well lighted kitchen where I could function in and enjoy a better quality of life. Normandy designers worked with me while sitting at my dining room table to assist me in choosing tile, faucet, basins, countertop, floor, lighting, etc. I could not have done this if they had not provided such customized assistance including providing documents, blueprints and other materials in alternate format so I could access. I also telecommute from a home office to my job and use assistive technology software on my computer. There were some samples I could not physically see so the designers sent me pictures of the projects so I could magnify the size 20 Xs. I made some choices in collaboration with the designers by using technology. The Project Supervisor assigned to my project demonstrated exemplary assistance. This was my first remodeling project and if I do another, I will call Normandy and request Ken Garrison to be the Project Supervisor. I LOVE MY KITCHEN!”
