Laura’s love for great design is apparent in every project. Whether it’s a historic Victorian, a traditional home or a contemporary loft space, she is able to meld the architectural style of the home with the client’s budget, needs and wishes, to create a space perfectly suited to their family. She believes listening is the first step to achieving great design. Every client has their own unique family dynamic and lifestyle. By asking in-depth questions, Laura is able to tailor their kitchen or bath into a customized space that is not only beautiful, but highly functional as well. The transformation of an outdated, dysfunctional space into a kitchen or bathroom of their dreams is the most rewarding and exciting aspect of her job. She believes the kitchen is truly the heart of the home and with careful planning and design, will dramatically improve the family’s enjoyment of their home for years to come.
Laura studied Interior Design at the Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg and since 2001 she has focused her career in the kitchen and bath design field. She has attained the certification of Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer through the National Kitchen and Bath Association and is committed to continuing education to stay current with the latest technology and trends.
She is active in the Chicago chapter of the NKBA and has served on the board for more than five years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, cooking and entertaining for family and friends, and traveling both locally and abroad.
