This gorgeous “New Traditional” kitchen by Normandy Designer Laura Barber earned a Master Design Award from Qualified Remodeler Magazine!

Laura successfully transformed the outdated Western Springs kitchen into a modern, stylish family hub by replacing an awkward, two-tiered island and unused desk area with a more streamlined layout, including a 48-inch range and a dedicated entertainment bar.

The refresh combines soft blue-gray cabinets, a warm walnut island, and stunning natural quartzite countertops.

With accents like gold mesh cabinet door inserts and antiqued mirrors, the space achieves a casually elegant, timeless appeal – perfectly suited for busy family mornings and sophisticated entertaining.
