She helped us in choosing the cabinets, wall tile, granite counter top, etc. She was very flexible to work with even when we made some minor changes during the project.

Ann answered all of our questions thoroughly and was very prompt in returning our calls and answering our emails.

Ann was very active throughout the whole project, reminding us of our costs and letting us know when we were going over our budget when we made changes.

She was also a tremendous help when we asked her advice for picking colors for the rooms being repainted and for staining the floor.
Overall, we could not have undertaken such a project without her help. Her guidance made the project go very smoothly. We would not hesitate to use Ann again or to recommend her to somebody else.”

“I hired Normandy to complete a project which included completely redoing my two second floor bathrooms, adding new railings for the stairs, adding hardwood flooring to the master bedroom, to the second floor foyer, and to the stairs to the second floor. They also brought infrastructure up to village code as needed.

I worked with Leslie as my designer and Ken as my project manager. Both of them were the epitome of professionalism. They were very good communicators and worked well together. They were always available when I needed to discus issues.

Leslie provided me with multiple design options as we worked our way through the process. The Normandy design showroom was an excellent place to review those options and make choices. She also made a great recommendation about how to improve the look of my Master Bedroom bathroom which I implemented. Leslie oversaw the development of the project specifications and the architectural drawings.

Ken managed the project and was responsible for getting the work done according to specifications. The project took about 8 weeks. Ken is very knowledgeable about construction work and I learned a lot from him during the build-out. He also handled village inspections. The work was done in a timely manner and according to the established budget. Changes were handled with work orders. My room entrances and floors were covered to keep dust from other areas of my house. Ken coordinated the activities of the workers and ensured work was done in the proper order to keep the project on schedule. The workers were neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. Ken was frequently on-site to discuss progress and what was coming up next.

Overall it was a great experience and I am very happy with the results. I have received many compliments about the design and the finished product.

Normandy may not be the least costly contractor, but they were certainly worth what I paid. I highly recommend them.”

“Our entire Normandy Remodeling experience was great. All of the various contractors associated with the project treated my house as if they were remodeling their own house. The designs developed by Normandy were outstanding. They were beautiful and cost effective. While it can be intimidating to spend a large sum of money on remodeling, we have no regrets whatsoever. Our designer, Troy, was attentive to our needs and all concerns that we had. With projects like these, there is always something unexpected that comes up. What matters is how the problems are solved. I can say that I was always 100% satisfied with how Normandy approached and solved problems. It’s been very satisfying coming home every day to our newly remodeled home. It’s also been very satisfying to hear the compliments of friends, neighbors and family on what a wonderful new home we have.”

“Excellent service. I have used other firms to do remodeling at my house and never have had the quality of service that I have received from Normandy. If there was ever any concern about the quality of the work that was performed on my house, one call to my site Manger, or to my contact at Normandy (yes, you will be assigned a person with whom you will work with from design to completion), and the problem will be solved. Never have I had worked with a contractor/designer who made me feel that I, and my house, came first.

In addition, they did so well dealing with permit application and inspection issues, which often are a problem when doing any major remodeling and building project.

“We selected Normandy over 2 other builders for a complete renovation of our kitchen and 2 upstairs bathrooms, including the Master BR. Our designer at Normandy, Jennifer Runner, provided superior concept drawings that incorporated her design expertise and styles with our ideas and desires for the 3 rooms, including the characteristics we did not like. The final designs, the material selection, and the guidance on colors provided by Jennifer were clearly better than the competition.

All phases of the construction were done on schedule and the workmanship of all facets was of the highest quality: rough framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, wall & ceiling, tiling, cabinetry, countertop, and floor refinishing. Normandy was very accommodating to my schedule. I needed a stoppage over one weekend to run speaker wire and Cat5e control cables for a whole house stereo system, over another weekend to allow for priming and painting the ceilings and walls before cabinetry and fixtures were installed, and yet one more weekend to allow for us to be out of town for the floor refinishing (with all the solvent vapors). They made the time available for me and still stayed on schedule. Normandy avoided any damage to the house and kept the work areas isolated and reasonably clean. There were several items on the punch list and a few issues after we signed off on the job, and Normandy always responded promptly and cheerfully to resolve them.

Our rooms were magnificently transformed through our collaboration with Normandy. I have recommended them to friends. They provided excellent service and produced stunning renovations that we will enjoy for years.”
