“As I walked into our brand-new (remodeled from the studs out) bathroom, I reflected once again on our good fortune in being able to work with Jennifer Runner of Normandy Remodeling. We cold-called Normandy in response to one of their ads. Jennifer was the designer who responded. She came to our home, listened carefully to what we thought we’d like, walked around our house and clearly absorbed our tastes, then took detailed measurements. A week or so later, we met again, and by then she had preliminary sketches that clearly demonstrated she’d listened well. Normandy may be a bit more expensive than others (or so we’ve been told), but one huge bonus was that throughout the entire process, Jennifer was our primary contact. She worked with the project superintendent to coordinate schedules to keep the project moving along smoothly and swiftly, then kept us completely informed and checked to see that we were pleased at the various project stages. “We were very happy and impressed by Normandy’s employee and procedures. Any time we had a question or problem, Andy would promptly take care of it. We were delighted with the final plans that Leslie came up with, and she found several elements that made our bathroom design more workable, elements that we had no idea even existed (e.g. the corner commode). We have received many compliments on our kitchen, from family and friends, and we are enjoying using the kitchen very much.During the height of the construction process, I broke my knee, which required a surgical repair. Not only was I present for a major part of the construction, I didn’t feel that I was inconvenienced at all. The workers went out of their way to keep everything clean, and gave me adequate warning when they had to turn the water off or do anything that could be categorized as “an inconvenience”.
