Bathroom remodels will consistently surprise you with their price. Since they are small in scale, there’s an expectation that the cost would be proportional to the size of the room. According to the national survey done by Remodeling Magazine in their Cost vs Value report, it’s not uncommon for a primary bathroom (previously referred to as the master bathroom) in the Chicago area to cost in the neighborhood of $92,000 to remodel.
