Wilmette Kitchen and Addition Wins Regional Design Award
Turning a dark, cramped kitchen into a light, bright, and timeless space was a win for this Wilmette couple, who love to cook. Normandy Designer Vince Weber helped the family reimagine their separate kitchen and dining areas into one big, bold space fit for entertaining and preparing restaurant worthy meals. Judges thought this kitchen was a win, too, and bestowed a 2022 Chrysalis Regional Award for their kitchen remodel and addition.
“By doubling the size of their kitchen, this family now has room for casual meals at the oversized island, as well a full dining table for more formal affairs,” says Vince. The overall look is not only fresh and clean but brings a level of sophistication, even down to the nooks and niches that store meal prep essentials, tucked just out of sight.
“We are so excited for this family’s new space and agree it was an award-winning collaboration of ideas and styles that will stand the test of time,” Vince says.
