“We worked with Ashley and Jeremy on a full kitchen remodel plus, including walls coming down, walls going up, mudroom, enclosing stairs to a garage, new pantry, half bath and several new windows and doors.

We had a wonderful experience from the quote and initial concept designs through completion. Ashley, Jeremy and Mike (superintendent) were attentive and worked to resolve any issues that came up in an efficient and timely manner.  The contractors were all friendly and kept the space clean and safe.  The team also coped with our quirkiness and humor! 🙂

The whole remodel turned out beautiful, we love it!  Cooking in this kitchen is a dream.  Our secret door rocks!

The tradesmen who were in our home were cordial, respectful of our property, careful in their work and they even put up with our chocolate Labrador who barked when they arrived and totally lost interest in them in the next second. We are only sorry that we were not fully aware of Normandy in the past because there is no question in our minds that we would have had a higher level of satisfaction with the projects in our home with you at our side. In addition, thank you for the beautiful cutting board.

Kathryn stayed in touch with us throughout and was more than thoughtful. Bruce just could not have been any nicer. We liked him from the start and he was never bothered by our questions. Jan knows a great deal about construction and has surprised many a tradesman with her knowledge. I am stupid when it comes to such matters and have neither the inclination nor the desire to learn. However, when Bruce explained things I understood and admit that I learned a bit. He presented not only Normandy, but himself in the most positive ways. If we decide to do another project I would request that great team of Kathryn and Bruce. It’s a better combination than peanut butter and jelly. In appreciation I told Kathryn I would be happy to speak to a group of your potential clients at one of your presentations. I would neither accept nor expect any remuneration of any kind.

“We hired Normandy to remodel our 2nd floor bathroom.  Price was in line with other contractors. In addition to gutting the entire bath, we also were able to expand the bathroom 2 feet in one direction.  The bathroom turned out great, and the process was pretty painless.  Normandy took great measures to keep everything neat and clean.  They were well organized, and things ran smoothly.

Although everyone from Normandy was very professional, one person that was a class act was our Designer Leslie Molloy.   My wife and I recognized from the beginning of the project that Leslie was a very GENUINE person, and we were both very comfortable with her. She did a great design of our bathroom,  and helped us pick fixtures, tiles, designs, and colors.  We were never rushed,  in fact on many occasions she spent extra time with us. Finally, she would always call and check that the job was progressing to our satisfaction.  She even came out to our house twice to look at the progression of the bathroom. If I could give her a bonus 6th star I would. Therefore, I not only highly recommend Normandy, but also highly recommend requesting Leslie as your Designer.”

“We interviewed 5 different remodeling companies in which 4 were close to our home.  Normandy is quite a distance from us and that was originally a concern. Would they know the local codes?  Would their staff have to travel far and not be available for last minute issues, etc.? We truly wouldn’t know until we started the project.

What sealed the deal for us and allowed us to be comfortable to sign on the dotted line occurred after our 1st meeting with Normandy’s designer Liz Reifschneider. Many designers have exquisite taste, and their projects can end up being quite nice, but sometimes the end result can represent more the designer’s personality then the clients.

We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted, but once we shared with Liz the type of lifestyle we live (a lot of casual entertaining) and showed her items in our house that reflect our personalities, she was able to put together our dream kitchen (as close to our budget as possible).  There was an actual time we were vacillating between 2 totally different styles. Unknown to us at the time, we were leaning towards a design that truly didn’t flow with the rest of our house, or our personalities. Liz kept us on the right path. Looking at the finished kitchen, we are so grateful she did!

Our worries about hiring Normandy because their home office/showroom was far from our home turned out to be unnecessary.   Steve Maro headed our project which included a total kitchen remodel and new floors throughout most of the first level.  His years of expertise, eye for detail, high bar of excellence, ability to keep the project on schedule, deal with unexpected issues in a fair and professional manner, help us live in the house throughout the project as comfortably as possible…and much more…exceeded our expectations. Each person in his crew were professional, skilled and cleaned up after each day’s work.  Normandy even provided restroom items for their crew such as paper towels, bathroom freshener, hand soap and a waste basket!!!

Normandy had checks and balances in place for our project. Being a very organized company helped to keep problems at a minimum. And, when an issue occurred, they were trustworthy and corrected the problem.
