“We recently hired Normandy for a major renovation to our first floor living space which involved the relocation of our kitchen and updating our living and dining rooms. Throughout the process, our designer Ashley Noethe and superintendent Brian Preston were highly professional in making our remodel a success.

From the start, Ashley was extremely instrumental in creating the design for our new first floor that we envisioned. She quickly ascertained our style preferences and made selecting tile, countertops, etc. a smooth and easy process. Her suggestions and expertise were essential in creating the living space that we are currently enjoying in our new home. As our project entered each new phase, we appreciated Ashley’s expertise more and more. Her creativity and communication skills are unparalleled. Thanks to Ashley, our new home is both beautiful in design and much more functional. It is a living space that we are so proud of and love using each day.

In addition, Brian Preston is another reason why working with Normandy was the best choice we made. His daily communication and attention to detail made this project run smoothly. Each day, Brian was on site and working closely with his crew to ensure that all construction and installation was completed properly and on time. Brian made himself available to answer all questions we had and effectively communicated what work was completed that day and what work was scheduled for the rest of the week.

“We had a great experience with Normandy and would recommend them highly We engaged them, after evaluating multiple contractors, to completely redesign and remodel our two bathrooms. It was a lengthy process since we could only do one bathroom at a time. To add to the complexity, we changed the size of both bathrooms and had to relocate virtually every plumbing fixture and electrical element.

We did our contract signing in September of ’21, started the construction in April and were fully completed in July. Bryan Brisky was our main contact as the designer and we couldn’t have been happier with his design ideas, helpful recommendations and communication. During our construction phase, Dave Imgrund was always there to manage all the loose ends with the trades (who were all excellent by the way) and to provide us with information about next steps and timelines.

While we initially considered trying to manage this project ourselves; we are soooo pleased we choose to use Normandy’s expertise and resources. It made a very disruptive remodeling project much less stressful and we are very pleased with the look and functionality of our two new bathrooms! If we have another remodeling need in the future, we will be using Normandy.”

“We had a great experience in working with Normandy. Our designer, Amanda Heyland, was not only talented, but also had the ability to listen. She spent time talking to my wife and I to learn about our likes and dislikes when it came to everything from faucets to sinks to lighting to countertops. We asked her to give us no more than 2 or 3 choices that she thought would work for us and she delivered. Our superintendent, Mike Laskowski, was an incredibly organized person. He was on the job site almost daily. He sent us a summary of work completed and work scheduled for the next day or two every evening. It was obvious that he worked hard behind the scenes to schedule people in different trades to keep our project moving. Amanda and Mike are professionals who happen to be good people. I also have to mention that the subcontractors employed by Normandy worked hard, were professional, and like Mike and Amanda, were really decent people. I highly recommend Normandy.”

“Normandy Builders added a second floor to our home in 2002. In addition, they renovated most of our first floor. We have loved every minute of our new home. Fast forward to 2020, we noticed some water damage in the master bathroom above the sink, as well as above the toilet. A few days later, upon opening a kitchen cabin and getting a face full of water, we knew we had a big problem. My husband did a little investigation work, and suspected a problem with the condensate drain on the high efficiency furnace in the attic. We decided to call Normandy to see if they could help. They could send out their service tech but advised that our home was no longer under warranty. We were aware of this and were not looking for free help – just some help. Tom, from the service department came out to take a look. He concurred with my husband’s findings. To investigate the source of the problem would require opening the master bath ceiling. Tom mentioned he would need to talk with management to see if Normandy would get involved. Within a day or two, we followed up with Tom, and he said he would be able to do the work. Tom was amazing. He opened the ceiling and found the leaky fitting. Not only was it leaking but was located in an area that made it almost impossible to service. Tom coordinated with the plumber, who came in to replace and re-locate the copper drain with PVC. Tom’s work was immaculate. He covered the areas in plastic in the bathroom to keep things as clean as possible. After his first day here, he vacuumed and cleaned up. Outside of the ceiling being gone, you would never have known Tom had been here. He came back a few days later after the plumber was done, and completed the work. Tom’s attention to detail, as well as his professionalism is top notch. I had mentioned to Tom early on, we would have had difficulty finding someone to do this work. No one wants a smaller size job. We are thrilled with the end result, and again, can’t emphasize enough the outstanding work Tom provided.”
