Exterior Transformation Wins Accolades from Homeowners & Industry Experts
The Owners’ request was to add a screen room to the rear of the house, in an effort to get more use of the exterior space. Their original deck faced south and west, which made utilizing the space very uncomfortable most of the summertime. Couple the sun exposure with insects, and the space was rarely utilized. Specifically they were looking for a space to use as a family and, most of the time, just as a couple. Lastly, it was important that the view to the golf course was not interrupted with the incorporation of the new porch.
Through careful design consideration, we were able to create a screen room that naturally blended in with the architecture of the home. Not only did the porch offer a space that could be more greatly utilized in the summer, the gable entry also framed the view of the tee box on the golf course.
