Normandy Remodeling Designer Pamela Gieseke Pamela Gieseke, Designer for Normandy Design Build Remodeling

Philosophy: Your home is a constantly evolving space that should inspire you and reflect your aesthetic as well as your idiosyncrasies. My endless curiosity and fundamental love of learning means I will ask in-depth questions to get to know you and the challenges you face in your home. I have a particular knack for solving tricky spaces, creating rooms with continuity and balance. I love collaborating and strengthening the connection between you and your home; whether through changes to the layout or finding just the right way to layer textures and materials.

Experience: Pamela is originally from St. Louis, MO. A middle school architecture course and trip to Chicago sparked her passion for architecture and design, which led to a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas. Pamela is energized by design-build and has been focused on residential interiors for the past 7 years.

Personal: Pamela lives in Chicago in a place she lovingly refers to as “The Shoe” with her mischievous cat, Blake. When she is not designing, you can find her exploring vintage furniture and architectural shops for unique finds and inspiration. She is also equally likely to be found curled up with a good book, listening to her favorite podcast called Armchair Expert, in a yoga studio, traveling/touring new places abroad or across the country, or spending time with family and friends.
