Philosophy: Finding the right combination of space planning, product selections, and aesthetics can feel like magic, and it’s only possible with careful listening and deep understanding. One of the best parts of my role is meeting great people and getting to know them as individuals. Only then can we design a space that feels like a perfect fit. Working through the seemingly endless options in products and materials, I encourage my clients to use my knowledge and expertise as a guide so that together we can create a truly unique space.

Experience: For over 25 years, April worked for a major Design Build Remodeling firm in Washington DC, honing her skills and gaining industry expertise. She earned her degree in Furnishings & Interiors from the University of Georgia and has won multiple awards and accolades for her work, as well as being published in industry-leading articles, both in print and online.

Personal: April lives in the Northern Suburbs with her husband Mark and their five children. Colin (16), Anderson (15), Campbell (13), Arden (10) and Case (7) keep life pretty busy; but when she finds free time, April enjoys exercising, travel, dining out, shopping, and social events with her husband and friends.
