Refrigerator Drawers For Kitchen Organization
Refrigerator and freezer drawers are a fantastic way to really organize your kitchen staples. Whether they’re used for fresh produce, beverages or frozen foods, it’s great to have that designated area that not only increases organization, but is an added convenience for busy families.
Refrigerator drawers are a particular favorite among families with young children. They let you keep healthy snacks down at a child’s level, and many drawers even have a clear plastic sliding lid on the top of the drawer so little ones can take as much time as they need to make a selection without letting all the cold air out.
There are two primary types of refrigerator and freezer drawers. The stand-alone option, which is just a pair of lower drawers that can be placed virtually anywhere in your kitchen cabinetry. You can leave the stainless steel fronts exposed or you can clad them in drawer fronts so they disappear into the rest of your cabinetry. The second way you’ll find these handy drawers is as part of an integrated refrigeration system that offers a traditional door above and drawers below. Choosing the right option depends on your kitchen’s layout and how you plan to use them.
