Coffered Ceiling Makes Design Statement

Open kitchen with coffered ceilingA coffered ceiling is a specialty ceiling treatment.  Through the use of beams and moldings, the ceiling is divided into a series of decorative squares.  They automatically add an architectural element to any room and create interest because they’re not something you’ll find in every home.   Whether or not they’re right for your home renovation is based completely on personal preference and budget.

Even if a coffered ceiling isn’t your taste, a ceiling treatment is a great way to add a unique design element to your project.

“Unfortunately, ceilings are often neglected because they’re not factored into the budget from the start,” commented Normandy Designer Laura Barber, “There are a variety of treatments available  today, and a custom ceiling can make an absolutely stunning focal point in any room.”

If you are looking to make a statement in your home or contemplating more extensive changes, you can set up a time with Laura to talk about the possibilities.
