Bathing your pet can be a back-breaking affair without the right set up. A walk in, doorless shower is ideal for sudsing up and rinsing down your favorite pooch. Alternatively, a sectioned off nook on the lower level of the home is a fantastic spot for a designated pet washing station. One family even had theirs built specifically for the family’s guinea pig.

Mudrooms or that unused space tucked under the stairs are also great places to incorporate a crate for your pet to feel safe and secure, especially if they get anxious around visitors. You can add organizing cubbies for their toys, grooming supplies, and favorite snacks to create a special space all their own.
