Family Time Renewed with this Award-Winning Open Floorplan Kitchen

Everyone in this family of five wanted to gather in the kitchen, but their existing space was far too cramped. Hemmed in by walls on either side, they were reluctant to take down a wall to expand their space. When their wish list couldn’t be fulfilled without expanding the kitchen, the wall between the kitchen and living room came down. The new kitchen is open and functional, and the new connection to the family room allows for even more togetherness. While they were reluctant to make the big change at first, now they can’t imagine their home any other way.
