Kirk Tracy, Normandy Remodeling Designer Kirk Tracy, Designer for Normandy Remodeling

Philosophy: I believe that remodeling your home should be an exciting experience. Having remodeled my own home,
I understand the concerns and uncertainty, so I do everything I can to make the experience a joyful and positive one. I approach each project by getting to know the personal ways spaces will be used and draw inspiration from this insight to drive the design of the project. My goal is to create spaces with a purposeful aesthetic that is aligned with your style and your needs.

Experience: Kirk studied architecture at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Columbia University in New York. During his early years, Kirk worked as a finish carpenter with his father where he gained an appreciation for the fine details that can elevate a space. After years of experience designing luxury hotels and mixed-use high rises, Kirk has returned to his first love of working in residential spaces, taking full advantage of his broad background in the industry.

Personal: Kirk lives with his partner in Wicker Park in a converted 1901 commercial building. He is an avid cook, challenging himself to create meals from market finds, although desserts are his specialty. Kirk lived abroad in Switzerland and France and has a passion for traveling the world, having visited 3 continents and 13 countries.
