Merging two condo units to create a cohesive space is tricky in any situation, but add the quirks of a vintage building and that’s when things really get interesting. In this home, the second kitchen wasn’t necessary so it was transformed into a spectacular wet bar with an equally fabulous fireplace in the adjoining space. The original kitchen got an upgrade as well, and all the spaces incorporated the building’s structural columns and visible mechanicals, which worked wonderfully with the homeowner’s funky, eclectic style.
