Additionally, there are times when one step must be completed before another can begin, which can cause delays. For example, countertops are not measured and ordered until cabinetry is installed. This is an expected period of time when nobody else will be working on your project, and it has been factored into your timeline.

Waiting for a custom item to be fabricated, or for the right tradesperson to complete a project, is almost always in your best interest.
