Whole Home Remodel and Addition Aligns with this Family’s Lifestyle and Snags an Award
What began as a bathroom remodel morphed into a whole home update, including a two-story addition. The existing home lacked dedicated spaces for entertaining, relaxing, and for focused concentration – especially for the work-from-home days. Normandy Designers Maury Jones and Abby Osborn partnered with the family to ensure that everyone in the household received a special new space. Some of the highlights in this project include a gorgeous home bar, new primary suite, a homework nook in the daughter’s room, and even a pet washing station for the family guinea pig. It’s like a brand new home, and the family couldn’t be happier.
The judges at the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI) were just as impressed and awarded this project a Regional Contractor of the Year Award in the Residential Addition category. This national competition identifies the best of the best in home remodeling and additions. Judging criteria is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and degree of difficulty.
