Normandy Designer Kathryn O’Donovan has been announced as Crystal Cabinet Work’s Crystal Design Awards Grand Prize Winner. The winning project can be found at our North Shore Design Studio in Evanston, alongside several other striking kitchens, in the front window display.

Kathryn took a risk when designing this light blue kitchen, as she sought to merge a traditional aesthetic with something a bit more updated and fresh. “One of the best parts of designing a display kitchen is that it allows you push the boundaries and play with a ideas that may be a little too revolutionary for some people to consider,” says Kathryn. “My goal was to create something that would inspire people to consider possibilities for their home that may have been hard for them to visualize, but when you can see and touch it in person, you fall in love.”
