"We had a very old kitchen in an old Victorian home that needed remodeling. We were looking for a one stop company that could guide us through the design, material choices, and subsequent construction of our kitchen. We are novices in the remodeling/home construction process and needed someone who we could trust that had the expertise and experience in working on old Victorian homes. Laura Barber helped us configure our current floorplan to meet modern building codes and provided us with multiple design choices. She was also very helpful in taking us through choices in flooring, cabinets, lighting, sinks, tile, cabinets, and appliances. During the actual remodeling process Pete Juska was our project manager and he kept the project on schedule managing the team of workers for demolition, structural work, carpentry, flooring, dry wall, electrical and hvac work. He was very knowledgeable regarding building codes and worked with our suburb for all permitting and inspections. It is easy to have a partnership when things go well but a true partnership is tested when things do not go as planned – and in old houses things never go to plan. We did run into a remodeling issue with our flooring and we worked with Normandy on the problem for a mutually agreeable solution. They were reasonable and we felt that they addressed our concerns in fixing the issue. Overall our experience with Normandy was very positive and we have a great deal of respect for their professionalism and expertise. We would definitely use them again for future projects."

If you would recall, Normandy Construction built a room addition on my house several years ago. I complimented you on the exceptional quality of the work at that time. When we were planning on the room addition back in 1983, I was concerned about getting my money out of the cost through a subsequent sell of the house.
