Normandy Designer Jackie Jensen completed her second certification through the National Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Association (NKBA), and was awarded an NKBA Specialty Badge for Cabinetry, making her a certified Cabinetry Specialist by this leading industry organization. Continuing education is not required, but Jackie believes it’s important to stay informed on the latest NKBA guidelines and trends. This badge demonstrates her wide range of cabinetry expertise regarding wood species, storage systems, door styles, hardware, joinery options and manufacturing processes. This helps Jackie to best educate her clients on their options when remodeling their kitchen or bathroom. Jackie has also earned an NKBA Specialty Badge for Floor Plans and Specifications.
Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior and Environmental Design from Illinois State University, and studied architecture in France and Spain. Along with being a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, she is also accredited by the Council for Interior Design. Jackie is passionate about guiding her clients through the artistic and therapeutic process of home remodeling and looks forward to creating spaces that are not only beautiful, but functional.
